Dyo Kouventes
“Dyo Kouventes” is the first single by Maria Alamani from her upcoming album Oi Anthropoi Mesa Mou, a collection of songs featuring the distinctive lyrics of Kostas Fasoulas, set to music by esteemed composers and songwriters.
Composed by Themis Karamouratidis, “Dyo Kouventes” is a deeply emotional song centered on the human experience—how one clashes with or reconciles their inner world. Maria Alamani, a young and talented singer, delivers a performance full of depth and expressiveness, conveying every word with immediacy, strength, and conviction.
ARTIST

Maria Alamani
Maria Alamani is a singer and a senior student at the Department of Primary Education at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (E.K.P.A.).
The deep, distinctive timbre of her voice was evident from an early age. She took her first steps in singing as a member of the Rosarte children's and youth choir, participating in world choir Olympics and winning a gold medal.
She is a graduate of the Alimos Music School, where she collaborated with various artists on both small and large stages. In 2019, just before turning 18, she was noticed by Mikis Theodorakis during a school concert. This led to a personal meeting with him, which she considers a defining moment in her musical journey.
Maria has studied under Elli Paspala and Myrto Papathanasiou. She plays the piano and continues her professional studies in music and singing.
Her first recording participation was released by Minos-EMI with a cover of the song "Ki Ego San Poli", with lyrics by Manolis Rasoulis and music by Manos Loizos. This was part of a tribute marking 40 years since the passing of Manos Loizos, featuring 30 young artists, along with Dimitra Galani and Maria Farantouri.
Later, she was recognized by Dynami tou Aigaiou and participated with two songs (by Christos Tsiamoulis and Nikos Grapsas) in the album "Anasa."
In 2025, she collaborated with Lampros Vasileiou on the album "Oi Anthropoi Mesa Mou", which was released by LEAP.
Maria continues to perform live at various music venues in Athens.
