New Album: Alamani/Vasileiou – Oi Antropoi Mesa Mou

An album that strikes at the core of contemporary Greek music is making its debut under the title Oi Anthropoi Mesa Mou (The People Within Me). A poetic and daring recording venture—an artistic meeting point that eschews the comfort of commercial safety, forging instead its own path under the artistic direction of acclaimed lyricist Kostas Fasoulas.

The album features nine songs, thematically and emotionally interconnected, with lyrics that speak to the most human of truths: absence, hope, loss, the need for forgiveness and reunion, and the delicate line between “too little” and “everything” in our relationships.

Maria Alamani and Labros Vasileiou deliver performances with strength, depth, and expressive nuance, bringing clarity and emotion to all nine songs. As emerging voices under the direction of Kostas Fasoulas, they become carriers of a musical vision imbued with soul.

Eight distinguished composers from different generations and musical backgrounds undertook the musical composition:
Alexandros Emmanouilidis, Pantelis Thalassinos, Giorgos Kazantzis, Themis Karamouratidis, Chrysostomos Karantonis, Yiannis Mitsis, Christos Nikolopoulos, and Nikos Xydakis.
