LEAP is a non-profit organization focused on enabling the creation of new music, by providing the necessary tools and support to talented artists, as well as educational opportunities to music creators. Every action we take is guided by our core belief:

We are dedicated to fostering the growth and development of exceptional musical talent across Greece, ensuring that music creators at all levels and in any genre, have the resources and support needed.

Our mission is simple:

  2. To help Greece’s most talented creators realize their potential and connect with audiences
  3. To create pathways for aspiring music producers and songwriters through educational opportunities and scholarships
  4. To sponsor innovative music projects that spark inspiration and bring people together

By offering funding directly to music creators, promoting innovation, and supporting educational initiatives we are committed to investing in the future of the Greek music scene.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

LEAP was founded by Alexandra Daskalopoulos.
Alexandra, an avid music lover and entrepreneur, is the CEO and Founder of FRONTSTAGE Entertainment, the leading Radio & Events group in Greece. FRONTSTAGE Entertainment owns some of the biggest and most loved music radio brands in Greece, Melodia 99.2, HiT 88.9, En Lefko 87.7, RED 96.3 and Kids Radio 88.6, with 33% of radio listeners tuning in to at least one of its stations daily.  The company also operates an Events Production branch and provides high-fidelity recording services.

Alexandra served as President and Vice President of the Association of Greek Commercial Radio Stations (EIIRA) for 10 years and she is also a Member of the Executive Committee of the Association of European Radios (AER).  She was included in the Greek “Fortune 40 under 40” and in “Fortune’s Most Powerful Women in Business” lists multiple years, and in 2022 she received the award for “Women Entrepreneur of the Year” by the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI).
